Actuarial Association was founded on 18 May 2001.
In the period since the establishment until 1 December 2005, Actuarial Association was registered at the level of the Federation of BiH.
On 1 December 2005 inaugural meeting of the Association was held at which was made a decision that the Actuarial Society in BiH would be registered at the state level in BiH, which was conducted on 4 August 2006.
Today, the Actuarial Society in BiH is a unique professional organization on the state level of BiH.
Association brings together actuaries and other interested parties in the promotion and development of actuarial and insurance industry in general as one of the basic goals and the scope of the Company.

Actuarial Society in BiH is a member of the International Actuarial Association - IAA.
Through our work Association conducted a series of activities of which we emphasize education of the first generation of actuaries in BiH which was promoted to actuaries through the Official Gazette of FBiH on 13 December 2004.
Besides the above mentioned, Association has organized a series of round table discussions and expert seminars of which we emphasize the seminar on Capital and Liabilities in insurance business that was held in Sarajevo on 14 November 2006.
Today, Actuarial Society in BiH is actively involved in developing the profession and the insurance industry in BiH. |
